I was thinking of doing something extra care of myself . My mother had colon cancer and she died from it long time ago. I don’t like to buy and use it on the counter. I rather use something I can make at home. Any tips. Serious answers please.

I don’t need to lose weight or anything, but I don’t exactly eat healthy, and I saw on the news, that the colon cleanser is good for not just men, but also women, and that it cleans gunk out and helps prevent colon cancer. Is it only for people trying to avoid colon cancer or who want to lose weight, or can someone who wants to be healthy use it. I just don’t want to take anything that will hurt me if I don’t need it.
